Crime Trends Police report more thefts

The Harker Heights Police Department reported 15 thefts in the city in the past week. Authorities said most stolen items were weapons and ammunition.

Police did not speculate on possible links between the thefts and have not arrested anyone in connection with the cases, some of which involved property damage.

The Harker Heights Police Department asks anyone with information to contact them, and to report all suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.

Police also indicated:

  • A burglary of a vehicle was reported at 9:35 a.m. July 23 in the 700 block of South Amy Lane.
  • A theft of gas was reported at 12:52 p.m. July 23 in the 500 block of East Farm-to-Market.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 10:42 p.m. July 23 in the 1700 block of Ute Trail.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 2:15 p.m. July 24 in the 400 block of North Amy Lane. Suspects allegedly broke in the back door and stole jewelry, four .22-caliber rifles, an 8 mm rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun, a .380-caliber handgun, and a digital camera.
  • A burglary of a vehicle was reported at 12:03 a.m. July 24 in the 2300 block of Indian Trail. A suspect took a GPS.
  • A theft of a firearm was reported at 8:11 a.m. July 25 in the 500 block of Sun Meadows Drive. The suspect took a Taurus PT111 handgun.
  • A theft was reported at 5:56 p.m. July 25 at a business in the 200 block of East Central Texas Expressway. A suspect stole a cell phone.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 7:22 p.m. July 23 in the 100 block of Nolan Trail. The suspect gained entry into the residence and stole a game system and jewelry.
  • A theft of gas was reported at 8:59 p.m. July 25 in the 900 block of Indian Trail.
  • A theft was reported at a business at 6:30 p.m. July 25 in the 200 block of East Central Texas Expressway.
  • A burglary of a vehicle was reported at 7:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of Clumet Drive. A suspect took at GPS.
  • A burglary of a building was reported at 10:52 a.m. July 26 in the 100 block of Shawnee Trail.
  • A theft was reported at a residence at 10:30 a.m. July 26 in the 400 block of Brittney Way.
  • A theft was reported at 2:50 p.m. July 26 in the 100 block of North Roy Reynolds Drive.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 3:52 p.m. July 26 in the 2000 block of Indian Trail.
  • A theft of services was reported at 4:02 p.m. July 26 in the 800 block of Nola Ruth Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported at 8:49 p.m. July 26 in the 200 block of East Central Texas Expressway.
  • A burglary of a vehicle was reported at 9:15 a.m. July 27 in the 2200 block of Wickiup Trail.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 11:55 a.m. July 27 in the 1400 block of Pima Trail.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at noon July 27 in the 1400 block of Pima Trail.
  • A theft was reported at 12:44 p.m. July 27 in the 1100 block of Bluebird Lane.
  • A burglary of a vehicle was reported at 3:15 p.m. July 27 in the 400 block of East Beeline Lane.
  • A theft was reported at 4:47 p.m. July 27 in the 1100 block of Indian Trail.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 12:10 a.m. July 28 in the 700 block of East Central Texas Expressway.
  • A burglary was reported at 7:41 a.m. July 28 at a residence in the 1600 block of Aztec Trace.
  • A theft was reported at 1 a.m. July 13 in the 1000 block of Windy Hill Road.
  • A burglary of habitation was reported at 7 a.m. July 29 in the 1600 block of Ute Trail.
  • A theft was reported at 10 a.m. July 29 in the 2000 block of Indian Trail.
  • A theft was reported at 2 p.m. July 27 in the 600 block of Paintbrush Drive.
  • A theft was reported at 4:22 p.m. July 29 in the 600 block of Indian Trail.
  • A theft was reported at 10:07 a.m. July 29 in the 200 block of East Central Texas Expressway.
