Rebekah Reid, 24, is a college student and sales associate at Five Below in Harker Heights.

Where are you from?

I am from Kansas City. I moved to the Harker Heights area because my future husband, Thomas Price, is a contractor. I have lived in this area since September 2013.

Tell me about your family.

I have two handsome brothers and two beautiful sisters, and I am the second-youngest out of the five of us. My parents have an amazing true love story. They have been together since they were 13 years old and raised five children together.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself married to Thomas and being a physical therapist. I would love to be traveling all over the world at this time also.

If you could change one thing about your life what would it be and why?

I would change my career. I want to be a physical therapist. I currently attend Metropolitan Community College online in Kansas City. I really hope these four years go by fast.

If you could give any advice to the young people of Central Texas what would it be?

I would tell them to love yourself first. Life is tough enough as it is so don’t be so hard on yourself or your body. Love your body, take care of it and treat it like a temple. Don’t let the media dictate to you what beautiful is. We have so many kids out there destroying their bodies to look like someone else or someone else’s opinion of beauty.

What was the best advice you were ever given?

The best advice that I was ever given came from a good friend named Laura. She said, “Remove negative people from your life.”
