Nolanville road closures announced
Avenue H from Main Street to 10th Street will be reconstructed to a curb and gutter road. The rehabilitation of Avenue H will improve drainage, include a sidewalk and add some new lighting. Avenue H from Main Street to 10th Street will be closed to through traffic. Residents who live off of Avenue H between Main Street and 10th Street will be allowed access to their homes. Signage and a detour route will be set up to direct traffic around the 439 Spur to 439 and back down 10th Street.
Gardeners education series class set

Workshop for families of inmates
The Killeen chapter of the Texas Inmate Families Association will present their first Parole Packet Workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 25 at American Legion Post 223, 208 South Park St., Killeen.
The workshop will provide information about the parole process and the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole, workbook and parole packet example. Cost is $50 for members or $85 for nonmembers, which includes membership. The organization strengthens families through support, education and advocacy.
