NOLANVILLE — The Faith Fellowship and Christian Life Center has been a part of the Nolanville community for nearly five years.

Pastor Greg Schannep retired from the military after serving in the Chaplain Corps and started the church in 2009. The church has its services at Nolanville Elementary School and has about 200 members.

The church has been helping out the community in many ways. A portion of the money brought in to the church is donated to outreach programs in the community to support local, regional, and global missions.

“We give money to the Killeen Food Care Center, the Hope Pregnancy Center and Southeast Asian missions,” Schannep said.

The church is preparing for it’s upcoming vacation Bible school, June 23-27.

As the church prepares to celebrate its fifth anniversary in September, the church is setting goals for the future.

“We want to expand in every area, including staff,” Schannep said.

Schannep said the church is open to anyone and that many people come to the Faith Fellowship and Christian Life Center after hearing about it from others.

“Word of mouth, the Internet, signs on the roads and Facebook have helped,” Schannep said. Go to or call 254-698-0079.
