NOLANVILLE — School is out for the summer and families are looking for fun activities for their children.

The First Baptist Church in Nolanville will kick off the summer by hosting an outdoor movie night along with vacation Bible school registration at 7 p.m. today. The featured movie will be Disney’s “Frozen.”

The vacation Bible school is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday for children in kindergarten through high school. The theme is “Weird Animals.”

“God made you this way and it’s OK to be weird and different,” said school director Barbara Beck, adding that the lessons will talk about how people and animals are all different.

Other activities include science experiments at the Imagination Station, Bible studies and recreation times with games.

The First Baptist Church is at 200 E. Avenue H in Nolanville. Call 254-698-6435.
