Crime Trends Police report numerous criminal mischief complaints

The Harker Heights Police Department received more than a dozen criminal mischief reports in the past week from several businesses and residences along East Cherokee Drive, Verna Lee Boulevard, West Central Texas Expressway and East Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

“Criminal mischiefs can be attributed mostly to random acts, and not to criminal episodes,” said Sgt. Roosevelt Wilson, HHPD spokesperson.

Residents should immediately report any suspicious activity to authorities, Wilson said.

Police also indicated:

  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 4 p.m. July 1 in the 500 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported at 7 a.m. July 2 in the 2000 block of Heights Drive.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 8:15 a.m. July 2 in the 600 block of Totem Trail.
  • A theft at a business was reported at 10 a.m. July 2 in the 600 block of Indian Trail.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 2 a.m. July 3 in the 100 block of East Cherokee Drive.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 9 a.m. July 3 in the 2500 block of Mugho Drive.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 9:22 a.m. July 3 in the 100 block of Turnbo Road.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at a residence at 6:43 p.m. July 3 in the 200 block of West Dogwood Drive.
  • A theft was reported at a residence at 7:24 a.m. July 3 in the 400 block of West Dale Avenue.
  • A theft was reported at a business at 2 a.m. July 4 in the 600 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 10:30 a.m. July 4 in the 1600 block of Beaver Trail.
  • A theft was reported at a business at 12:46 p.m. July 4 in the 600 block of Indian Trail.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at a residence at 2:30 p.m. July 4 in the 100 block of West Mark Road.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 2:28 a.m. July 5 in the 2200 block of Omaha Drive.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 1:05 p.m. July 5 in the 300 block of Timber Ridge Drive.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at a business at 3:30 p.m. July 5 in the 800 block of West Central Texas Expressway.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at a church at 4 p.m. July 5 in the 600 block of South Ann Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported at a business at 6:59 p.m. July 5 in the 600 block of Indian Trail.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 12:22 a.m. July 6 in the 1500 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 8 a.m. July 6 in the 2200 block of Wickiup Drive.
  • A theft was reported at 3 p.m. July 6 in the 700 block of Amy Drive.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 4:30 p.m. July 6 in the 4800 block of Carlson Trail.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at a business at 1:13 a.m. July 7 in the 200 block of West Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported at a business at 2:30 p.m. July 7 in the 200 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
  • A burglary of a vehicle was reported at 5 p.m. July 7 in the 2100 block of Memory Lane.
  • A theft was reported at a business at 6:39 p.m. July 7 in the 600 block of Indian Trail.
  • A burglary of a residence was reported at 9:37 p.m. July 7 in the 400 block of Brittney Way.
  • A criminal mischief complaint was reported at 9:30 a.m. July 8 in the 1700 block of Verna Lee Boulevard.
  • A robbery was reported at a residence at 12:29 a.m. July 9 in the 400 block of Hogan Circle.
