Cornerstone Baptist Church is offering an outreach program to adolescent girls this summer. In “A Young Lady after God’s Own Heart,” girls will read two Elizabeth George books about friends, faith, family and the future, said Cassandra Williams, director of the Daughters of Assurance ministry.

“The purpose of our ministry is to motivate and encourage our female youth to grow into God-fearing women,” Williams said. “We believe this is best done by walking with them as they develop a heart and mind for God and a personal relationship with Him.”

The sessions will be from 2 to 5 p.m. June 22, 2 to 4 p.m. June 29, 2 to 4 p.m. July 13 and 2 to 4 p.m. July 27. All interested young women are invited to attend. Study guides and T-shirts can be purchased at the church.

Cornerstone Baptist Church is at 484 Farm-to-Market 3219 in Harker Heights. For more information, call Cassandra Williams at (254) 458-1360 or Mary Ann at (254) 715-2068.
