Young students in kindergarten through fifth-grade are invited to expand their dance horizons during the “Little Belles” Camp from 9 to 11 a.m. May 3.

Led by Amy Drozd, director of the Crimson Belles/Rosettes dance teams, aspiring dancers will learn a routine from veteran dance team members that will be performed during the Spring Show at 7 p.m. May 10 at the Harker Heights High School Auditorium.

“What I enjoy most about teaching Little Belles Camp is seeing all the little girls having fun learning the dance and all the excitement it brings to the girls,” said Lyndsey Loughran, dance team captain and a four-year Crimson Belle. “I participate in the camp because it’s a way for us to fundraise and it’s just loads of fun to do.”

The cost for the camp is $20, which includes a T-shirt, which acts as the costume for the spring show performance, and admission to the show for the Little Belle.

Group pictures will be taken during camp of each camper with their Crimson Belle squad. This picture is available at additional cost of $5 and will be available for pick-up the night of the performance.

Dress for the dance camp is shorts, a T-shirt, socks and athletic/dance shoes. Hair should be pulled away from the face.

Camp participants need to check in and meet at the auditorium no later than 6:45 p.m. May 10.

Costume for the performance is black dance pants, leggings or shorts, tennis shoes or dance shoes and the Little Belles Camp T-shirt, which they will receive the night of the show.

Registration forms, along with check or money order, must be received no later than April 28. Checks should be made payable to HHHSCB and mailed to the address provided on the form and not sent to the school.

Registration will not be accepted the day of camp.
