The holidays are approaching, and to prepare, spend this Saturday crafting and creating at the library.

The Stewart C. Meyer Harker Heights Public Library is hosting a DIY Holiday Craft Day for all family members, young and young at heart.

Make this year memorable with personal, handmade items to cherish for years to come.

Sew homemade gifts and decorations, stockings and hats from 10 a.m. to noon.

Make one-of-kind cards from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Design personalized wrapping paper, craft with paper and rubber-stamping at 2 p.m.

Craft ornaments and decorations to decorate the whole house at 3 p.m.

A special all-day feature is the Holiday Coloring Corner.

And what better way to add a final festive touch than with a Hot Chocolate Buffet.
