Three days after pitching a no-hitter against Lampasas, Sidney Holoman pitched all five innings and shut down the Harker Heights Lady Knights, holding them to one hit.

She also got plenty of run support.

Alyson Bishoff hit a three-run homer in the first inning and the Belton Lady Tigers ran away with a 14-0 district-opening win over host Harker Heights on Tuesday. Bishoff finished 3-for-3 with five RBIs and four runs scored in the blowout win.

Kirsten Whiteside led things off for Belton (8-9, 1-0 5A), taking five walks, scoring two runs and not registering an official at-bat. Brittany Bass also drove in two runs for Belton, and Becca Alcozer and Alex Wilson were 2-for-3 at the plate.
