The Lady Knights lost their final two District 8-6A games before the holiday break.

After suffering a 57-38 defeat to No. 16 Waco Midway last week, Harker Heights fell just short of beating San Angelo Central, losing 40-38 on Tuesday.

No. 12 Ellison sits atop the district with an unblemished 4-0 showing after upsetting No. 7 Copperas Cove 45-35 on the road Tuesday.
