Nolanville is experiencing a “major water leak” after a construction vehicle broke one of the city’s two main water lines to the north side of town, according to an official with the Bell County Water Control & Improvement District No. 3.

Rick Williams, the president of the district, said a contractor accidentally hit the line while digging near Avenue H Wednesday afternoon.

Crews are working to fix the broken line tonight, however, homes on the north side of town may be without water.

“We are asking the residents of Nolanville to please limit water usage until the line is repaired,” according to a press release from the district.
