At Lexington, Cole Haag and Caden Eary both homered and the second-ranked Eagles beat Lexington.
Haag was a 2 for 5 with two RBIs, a double and a solo home run and Eary was 1 for 3 with a three-run shot to lead Salado, which led 7-0 before Lexington scored its first runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Davis Little was 2 for 3 with a double and one RBI; Marshall Mann was 1 for 4 would a triple and two RBIs and Jon Franz was 1 for 4 with a double for Salado (20-1, 3-1 22-2A).
Salado, which hosts Rosebud-Lott on Tuesday, scored three runs in the second and fourth innings, one in the third and two in both the fifth and sixth innings.
Pitcher Britton Hawes (5-0) gave up three earned runs on five hits in six innings and struck out three. Little pitched the seventh inning and struck out all three batters.
