BASEBALL: Killeen plays to tie against Austin Lanier

At Austin, the Kangaroos concluded play at the Austin ISD Tournament by tying Austin Lanier 3-3. Due to rainy conditions, games were ended following five innings.

Garrett Gaskamp went 1-for-3 with an RBI, while freshman Westley Brooks earned an RBI off his suicide bunt and Devyn Darnell was 2-for-2.  

Chris Barber went 1-for-2 and came in to relieve starting pitcher Doug Bell.

Killeen (2-10-1, 1-0 8-5A) hosts Harker Heights on Tuesday.
