At Belton, Daniel Mills scored 21 points and Thomas Moore added 14 to lead the Tigers to a final nondistrict win before opening their District 8-5A schedule next week by hosting rival Temple.

Belton, which had 11 players score at least two points, led by one at halftime and pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Lions 22-11 in the third quarter and 19-13 in the fourth.
