At Harker Heights, Cory Entrop scored twice in a six-minute span late in the second half to propel Belton to an early hold atop the District 8-5A standings.

Before Entrop got going, the Knights (9-3-2, 1-1 8-5A) answered every Tigers’ score and pulled ahead 2-1 on a penalty kick by Austin Roden 33 minutes into the game, but Nick Amato responded on a PK of his own four minutes later to go into halftime tied at 2-2.

Amato connected with Cesar Cruz to put Belton (6-1-4, 2-0) up again 3-2 5:30 into the second half, but Jordan Foster scored his second goal of the game on an assist from Ethan Roden 10 minutes later to knot it up again.
