At Grand Prairie, Shane Stafford pitched Belton to a 2-1 win over Keller, but the Tigers couldn’t produce enough offense in a 5-2 loss to Flower Mound and settled for a split Friday at the Dallas Highland Park Scotland Yard Classic.

Stafford (2-0) threw 60 of 80 pitches for strikes in a three-hitter, and Joey Hogan’s pinch-hit two-run homer in the top of the seventh inning won it for Belton (6-8-1).

The Tigers wrap up the tournament today with games against North Richland Hills Richland at 10 a.m. and Saginaw Boswell at 12:30.
