Eight Copperas Cove athletes participated in National Signing Day as they made their commitments official in an on-campus joint ceremony Wednesday morning.

Highlighted by center/long snapper Justin Greene’s commitment to Air Force, seven football players signed letters of intent.  Joining Greene, who was the lone player to sign with a Division I program, was defensive back Kincey English (San Angelo State), quarterback Robbie Seybold (Mary Hardin-Baylor), defensive lineman Darian Childers (Blinn) and offensive lineman Nick McGee (Cisco).  Tight end Girod Fluelen and linebacker Matt Farmer both signed to play at Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Second baseman Dustin Cooper was the only nonfootball player to take part in National Signing Day for Copperas Cove, committing to play at Central Christian College in Kansas.
