Safety/DB Deric Robertson and outside linebacker Jeffrey Banks led a class of seven Killeen football players to sign college letters of intent on National Signing Day on Wednesday in the Killeen High gym.

Robertson signed with Oklahoma State, finalizing the verbal commitment he gave the Cowboys in late-May. Banks, who's 6-foot-6 and 205 pounds, signed with Texas State.

Tight end Akeem Harrison signed with West Texas A&M, overlooking other big-school offers to play offense instead of linebacker.

Receiver DeVarri McCray, who also received big-school interested as an athlete, signed with Trinity Valley Junior College.

Receivers Marcus Hodges and Eric Jackson and linebacker Quantavis Patterson all committed to play Division III football at Hardin-Simmons.
