Kdh cares more about Temple and Cove than they do about schools in there own city. It's a shame there is some great talent in the area. But all we get is articles about the QB from Cove and injury updates on the injured Temple QB. Let's not forget that Killeen beat Cove this year and Shoemaker beat Midway. Hopefully KDH will get it right one day. But for now, I will call them either the Temple daily herald or Cove daily herald.

You didn't miss it. The cracker-jack KDH Sports staff didn't post it.
You get what you pay for.
Shoemaker is the first 8-5A team to beat Midway since Midway joined 8-5A and KDH failed to get that story posted to the internet.
If you want to read about it online, go to the Waco Tribune. They covered the game.

I guess the Killeen paper wasn't interested in Shoemaker, or, maybe there is a HUGE write up that I missed.

And now this sets up the 8-5A game of the year next week when Temple comes to town.
Cove only makes the playoffs if they win out or if both Heights and Killeen lose one more game each.
A Cove loss to Temple muddies the playoff picture not to mention evaporates if Shoemaker and Killeen win out. Cove would miss the playoffs if that happens.
Cove cannot end up in a two-way tie with Killeen for the fourth place playoff spot.. If it does, Cove stays home and misses the playoffs.
It is technically possible for Heights and Cove to finsih tied for fourth in which case Heights advances in a two-way tie with Cove and in a three-way tie with Cove and Killeen.
Regardless Cove needs to beat Temple to control its own destiny.
