At Fredericksburg, with only five matches left before District 8-3A play begins, the Lady Badgers suffered a straight-sets loss at Fredericksburg.

Junior outside hitter Kara Gillis led Lampasas with four kills and four aces, while setters Blake Webb and Nola Bishop finished with six assists apiece. 

Junior outside hitter Ashlyn Theus added a team-high eight digs.

The Lady Badgers play next at Little River-Academy on Tuesday before opening district play at home against Liberty Hill on Sept. 27.
