Cielo McClain scored 15 points and Kaleiyah Davis added 14 to help the Patterson eighth-grade A-team Lady Cavaliers get a 59-4 victory over Live Oak Ridge on Monday.
Niah Tennant also finished in double figures with 10 points. Other scorers for Patterson were Devany Wall (eight points), Sydney Brock (six points) and Daija Planas, Breonna Fleming, Rashari Brent and Jayonna Jennings (two points each).
The eighth-grade Lady Cavs host Union Grove on Wednesday.
RANCIER 8A 37, NOLAN 8A 12: Alia Vines scored all 12 points for the defeated Lady Mustangs and also grabbed four offensive rebounds and two steals.
Shayla Williams also had four offensive rebounds. Katrina McMillin had three rebounds. Other defensive standouts were Dominique Buford and Hillary Henyo.
PALO ALTO 8A 28, UNION GROVE 8A 25: At Union Grove, Angelica Brown led the defeated Grizzlies with seven points.
Other scorers for Union Grove were Kiara Young and Majiesstic Wright (six points each), Sheila Borders (four) and Nasia Close (two).
PATTERSON 8B 36, LIVE OAK RIDGE 8B 11: Geordan Blanchard tossed in 16 points in the Lady Cavaliers’ victory.

PALO ALTO 8B 13, UNION GROVE 8B 9: At Union Grove, Kayla Hansen led the defeated Grizzlies with six points.

PATTERSON 7A 43, LIVE OAK RIDGE 7A 7: Amani Bradshaw scored 11 points and Jasmine Carson added 10 to lead the Lady Cavaliers to a victory.

PATTERSON 8A 47, S.C. LEE 8A 21: Xavier Wilson, Jose Serrano and Jakari Thomas each scored 10 points as the Cavaliers won their opening game in the Killeen ISD Invitational on Wednesday.

NOLAN 8A 47, LIBERTY HILL 8A 33: At Liberty Hill, Jyaire Shorter scored 17 points and Marcus Eiland added 10 as the Mustangs bounced back from a slow start to win their opener in the KISD Invitational.

TEMPLE TRAVIS 8A 39, NOLAN 8A 38: At Nolan, Jyaire Shorter scored 17 points but the Mustangs dropped a heartbreaker in the second round of the KISD Invitational.
The host Mustangs jumped out to an eight-point lead in the first half, but gave the visitors too many opportunities and suffered their first loss of the season.
Other scorers for Nolan were Casey Armour (eight points), Marcus Eiland (six), Demontrion Curb (five) and Shon Hollway and Trayvon Todd (two each). Todd also grabbed 12 rebounds.
