At Austin, CJ Bobbitt II grabbed an offensive rebound with three seconds left, hit the basket, got fouled, then hit his free throw, and Harker Heights edged Austin LBJ.

“I thought it was a heck of a game,” said Harker Heights head coach Celneque Bobbitt. “We were facing the No. 4 team in the state in 4A in their gym in front of a hostile crowd . We were down by five with 48 seconds to play. Then Cody Halverson hit a big 3 to cut that lead down to two points.”

Harker Heights then fouled Austin and the free throws were missed, setting up Bobbitt’s game-winning shot and free throw. Josh DeLaney led Harker Heights in scoring with 14 points.
