At Harker Heights, the Knights snapped a three-game losing streak in convincing fashion as junior Caleb Dean struck out nine and limited Killeen to two hits over six innings.

Heights (11-10, 5-4 8-5A) opened things up with a four-run fourth inning when Tyler Torres (2 for 4) singled in Miles Munro (2 for 3) and then scored on an RBI single from Michael Rae Zapata.

John Rechtorivich had the lone extra-base hit for Killeen (5-16, 3-6).
