At Pflugerville, Robby Sluss combined to bat 3 for 6 with four RBIs, including 1 for 4 with three RBI in an 8-6 win over Pflugerville Connally for the Thursday split after falling to San Marcos 15-4.

Against Connally, the Knights (6-6) lead 3-2 before registering a five-run top of the sixth that was highlighted by four straight RBI-knocks, including a two-out, two-run double by freshman Tyler Torres and an RBI single by Cody Plagens, who was 3 for 5 for the game.

Torres and catcher Tyler Keller each contributed two hits and a pair of RBI against Connally while Caleb Dean pitched four innings, giving up five hits for the win.
