Kaleb Hardy had a bounceback game with 319 total yards and four touchdowns while best friend Jimmy Struble added 163 receiving yards and two scores to send Florence to a 40-20 win over host Little River-Academy on Friday.

After struggling with 26 incompletions last week against Salado, Hardy finished 12-of-18 for 241 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air. That included connecting with Struble on a 90-yard pass and the two-point conversion to put the Buffaloes ahead 14-0 in the second quarter.

Academy would make it a game, with Florence (4-3, 2-2 13-2A, Div. I) nursing a 14-13 lead at halftime, but Hardy provided a pair of rushing touchdowns of 3 and 25 yards, Fernando Ortiz added a 28-yard score and the Buffs’ lead exploded to 32-20 in the third.
