Jasmine Goodwine combined for 38 points to lead the Killeen Lady Roos to wins over Austin Bowie and Dripping Springs and advance into the Gold Bracket of the Greater Austin ISD girls basketball tournament.

Following their 50-45 win over Bowie and 62-42 win over Dripping Springs, the Lady Roos are 5-0 going into their championship tournament bracket game tonight at 7 p.m. at Round Rock McNeil High School.

Goodwine scored 20 points and Esha Atkins added nine as the Lady Roos rallied from Bowie’s five-point lead going into the fourth quarter. Killeen outscored the Lady Dawgs 18-8 in the final period.

Goodwine scored 18, Johlicia Williams added 15 points, 13 from the free-throw line, and Tia Harston hit three 3-pointers and chipped in 12 points to lead Killeen over Dripping Springs, which trailed 31-21 at halftime and 50-32 going into the fourth quarter.
