At Lago Vista, Florence combined for just 92 yards of total offense, including minus-4 yards rushing, as senior quarterback Kaleb Hardy left with a concussion in the third quarter.

The host Vikings pulled ahead with a 28-7 second quarter, thanks to a pair of touchdown passes of 32 and 57 yards from quarterback Bryce Adams, his only two completions of the game. Lago Vista ran for 304 yards with Scott Zufelt leading the charge with 93 yards on 11 carries and a 5-yard touchdown run. Shyheim Buford also added touchdown runs of 25 and 12 and finished with 59 yards on six carries.
