At Belton, Daniel Mills led all scorers with 19 points but the Tigers couldn’t overcome a 29-17 halftime deficit for their third straight loss to open the season.

Braden Hammond and Kyle Battle added eight and seven points, respectively, but Vandergrift had four players score at least nine and Belton (0-3) couldn’t compete with that kind of balance.
