    The Fighting Roos...Wow...Wow...WOW!

Not to put a damper on the Roos Win, but it would have been so much sweeter had it been played at Leo Buckley Stadium...home game.

And for those not from around here the fact that this is KHS' first win over Cove since 1995 doesn't imply Cove has beaten KHS 18 times in a row. For over half of those years these teams didn't play each other, so the headline is a bit deceiving.
    Way to go ROOS!

    OMG!!
The Big Bad Mighty Copperas Cove Bulldogs lost.
How is it possible that a team as well coached and with all "those play makers" we've been forced to read about for the most past month could lose?
Who knew there was talent outside of Cove and Midway in 8-5A?
    The Roos. That's who.
Maybe it's time the KILLEEN Daily Herald sports staff wake up and starts reporting on the talent on KILLEEN ISD football teams.
I suggest you start with Daniel McCants.
