PRIDDY  — No. 18 Lometa dominated Priddy in an 81-39 Tuesday night thrashing. In the season debut for the Hornets, Eric Nichols scored 21 points, Ivan Jasso 12 and Kyle Molter and Pedro DeLuna each had 10.

Lometa led 16-14 after one quarter and 37-24 at halftime.

“I thought we came out slow in the first quarter,” said Lometa head coach Aaron Nuckles. “But the longer the game went on, the better we played.

“We had some young guys step up, particularly sophomore Ivan Jasso who was starting his first game.

“Eric Nichols was a constant threat and Kyle Molter came through for uswith a double-double.”
