Ellison's Casey Armour (1) shoots over Flower Mound's Jeffrey Mills during the Class 6A area-round playoffs Feb. 23 at West High School.

A 27-point, 11-rebound outing, with a buzzer-beating basket to give Ellison a 54-52 win against Cedar Hill in the Eagles’ playoff opener Feb. 20, helped Casey Armour win the vote for the KDH Player of the Week honor for the week of Feb. 26.

Who is your hero and why?

“My mom is my hero because she supports me in everything I do and she’s always been there.”

If you could have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

“That’s a hard one. I’ll say, pizza because you can’t go wrong with pizza.”

Who would you have play you in a movie about your life?

“Probably my little brother, ’cause he’s funny.”

Is there a certain song you play that pumps you up before a game or practice?

“No, I just play a little playlist that I made up.”

Is there any significance to your jersey number?

“Not really, I just randomly picked No. 1 and just ran with it.”

What does play for Ellison mean to you?

“It means everything, just having the 'Eagles' across my jersey and playing for them is just amazing and the energy that they bring. And it’s just a great school.”
