At Salado, The Salado Lady Eagles won their third consecutive game on Tuesday night defeating Thorndale 52-35.

For Salado, Sarah Kelarek scored 14 points, Ashley Adams 10, and Jaylee Sebek eight.

The Lady Eagles are now 3-2, Thorndale dropped to 1-2.

“I think we played real well in the first half,” said Salado head coach Diane Konarik. “In the second half, we got a little sloppy; our intensity dropped. But after I recollected them, we got things back in order.

“We really emphasize that working hard in practice will pay off. Our girls have been working really hard in practice and now, by winning these past three games, they can see that all that hard work is paying off.”
