At Belton, Shane Johnson and Paris Yerry scored 17 and 15 points, respectively, as the Grey Wolves outscored the host Tigers 42-33 in the second half and clinched their second-straight playoff berth.

The win kept Shoemaker (24-7, 9-2 8-5A) tied with Harker Heights in second place in district, one game back from first-place Ellison. Torenzo Saunders added 10 points and Sean Causey had 9 for the Grey Wolves, while Daniel Mills was the only Belton (7-22, 2-8) player in double figures with 20 points.
