Harker Heights senior Matthew Sluss took two individual medals and helped the Harker Heights Knights win another relay medal at Saturday’s meet.

Sluss took the gold in the 100 breaststroke and got the silver in the 50 freestyle.

Overall, the Harker Heights boys finished fourth with 231 points while the girls came in seventh with 100 points.

Sluss won the 100 breaststroke (1:01.86) by more than six seconds while his time in the 50 freestyle (22.60) was 0.07 second behind Cedar Park’s Mark Olsen.

Sluss was a part of the Knights’ second-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:45.60).

Morgan Bean was also a part of the relay team and finished third in the 100 freestyle (51.39).

Kathleen Sauer had the best finish of any Lady Knight, taking fourth place in the 200 IM (2:31.21).
