At Florence, fifth-ranked Rogers scored two runs in the fifth inning and three runs in the sixth to keep Florence from pulling off the upset.

Rogers led 3-0 until the Lady Buffaloes plated two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to pull within 3-2.

Clarissa Carranco was 1 for 3 with an RBI double to lead Florence. Mackenzie Futrell was also 1 for 3 with a run scored. In the circle, Futrell allowed five earned runs on 10 hits. She also struck out five and walked five.
