Belton sophomore golfer Trent Tepera led the Tigers with a two-round total of 151 and Belton finished fourth in its fall season finale Saturday in the Cedar Creek Fall Invitational.

The Tigers had two teams in the competitive 12-team field at Wolfdancer Golf Club. Belton’s No. 2 squad placed sixth, led by Logan Hoelscher’s 155.

The Tigers shot 308 on the first day and shared the lead with Austin Vandegrift, but Lake Travis rallied for a one-shot victory over Round Rock.

Only 10 shots separated the top six teams.

Vandegrift’s Cole Sherwood finished at 144 to win the individual title by one over Cedar Park’s Ben Dunne.

Belton’s Preston Pratt (153) and Dallas Hankamer (154) also finished in the top 10.
