Jacen Moore had nine points, 10 rebounds and three blocks to lead the Killeen girls basketball team to a 44-31 win over Belton on Friday in a battle of district unbeatens.
Belton (2-1 8-6A) led 20-7 after the first quarter but went scoreless in the second quarter, and scored only two points in the third quarter.
Shianne Johnson added eight points for Killeen (8-8, 3-0 District 8-6A). Meleanna Williams scored seven. Manesha Knox had six points, three rebounds and two blocks. Jaida Burkes finished with six points, two steals and rebounds.
The Lady Roos remain in a first-place tie with Ellison, which won 67-53 over Shoemaker.
SALADO 57, LEANDER GLENN 24: At Salado, Lexie Lima led three Lady Eagles in double figures with 14 points as Salado routed Leander Glenn for its third straight win to start District 19-4A play.
Sarah Kate Kelarek and Taylor Lowrance each added 10 points for Salado (8-6).
The Lady Eagles travel to Thrall on Monday for a 3:30 p.m. game.
LAMPASAS 54, LLANO 52: At Llano, Alexis Theus scored 21 points and the Lady Badgers rebounded from Tuesday's double-overtime loss to pick up their first District 19-4A victory.
Kamri Cobrin (12 points) and Diane Hurst (10) also scored in double figures for Lampasas (7-11, 1-2 19-4A).
