Top-ranked Liberty Hill scored four early runs and held on to beat No. 11 Salado 6-3 in District 19-4A softball action Thursday at Liberty Hill.

The Lady Panthers managed just four hits and a walk against Salado pitcher Bailey Tindell, but capitalized on four Lady Eagle errors and scored three unearned runs.

Rebecca Dockray had two hits and scored twice for Salado. Piper Randolph also had two hits. Lindy Martin doubled and drove in two runs.

NO. 25 LAMPASAS 22, LEANDER GLENN 0: At Leander, aided by a 12-run inning, the Lady Badgers rolled to a three-inning victory.

The Lady Badgers host Burnet for their annual home finale fish fry on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
