Lampasas V Leander Glenn

Lampasas' Daniel Hurst wins the opening tip against Leander Glenn on Jan. 6 in Lampasas.

LAMPASAS — Daniel Hurst felt he could not take a play off, and he did not want to.

On a team with all five starters returning, Lampasas’ senior post knew his role. In addition to his responsibilities as the focal point of the Badgers’ offense, standing 6 feet, 8 inches, Hurst understood he had to excel defensively for Lampasas to succeed.
