Piper Randolph had two hits and six different players scored as the 12th-ranked Salado softball team beat Burnet 6-2 on Saturday in Salado in a game that was slated to be played today.

Jenna Calder doubled and drove in a run for Salado. She also stole a base.

Salado led 6-0 before Burnet broke up the shutout against Bailey Tindell in the top of the seventh inning.

Tindell pitched a complete-game four-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks.

The Lady Eagles travel to top-ranked Liberty Hill on Thursday.
