Salado’s most successful football season in years was reflected in the 9-4A, Division II All-District Team.

The Eagles, who went 7-4 and earned their first playoff victory in nine years, had six players picked to the first team, and 11 selections on the second team.

Five of Salado’s first-team picks were on the offensive side of the ball: senior running back Jake Harvey, junior fullback Trey Sheppard, senior tight end Gabe Kane, senior guard Noah Barker and junior center Willy Whigham.

Senior inside linebacker Tate Hill was picked to the first-team defense.

Junior Cutter Hudgens (returner, cornerback) and senior Trevor Stump (tight end, punter) were double selections on the second team.

Other Salado players on the second team were Aaron Torczynski (Jr., RB), Robert Soto (Jr., OT), Jake Walrath (Jr., K), Jacob Wilk (Jr., OLB), Wyatt Bagley (Jr., DE), Zach Adams (Jr., DT) and Tate Harvey (Soph., S).
