Piper Randolph, Breigh Oliver and Rebecca Dockray each collected two hits for the No. 21-ranked Lady Eagles in a 5-4 District 19-4A triumph over No. 25 Taylor on Wednesday in Salado.

Salado jumped out to an early 3-0 lead through three innings, but the Lady Ducks put up four runs in the top of the fifth to capture a 4-3 advantage.

The Lady Eagles replied with a run in the home half of the fifth and another in the bottom of the sixth to win by one.

Oliver, Christin Wilson and Marissa Gonzalez tallied RBIs for Salado, and Jenna Calder had a double and an RBI.

Bailey Tindall earned a complete-game victory in the circle. She allowed four runs on four hits while striking out six and walking none.

The Lady Eagles are scheduled to play a playoff warmup game April 24 against Georgetown East View in Georgetown at 6 p.m.
