The Lampasas Lady Badgers bounced back from a slow start to earn their second consecutive victory to start the season, beating McGregor 53-32 at home on Saturday morning .

After posting just six points in the first quarter, Lampasas outscored McGregor 47-27 over the duration of the contest to earn a lopsided win.

Junior guard Qadrey Tolliver led the Lady Badgers offensively, scoring 15 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and teammate Caitlyn Shaughnessy added nine, while Sierra Rash and Alexis Theus finished with eight points apiece.

Lampasas’ biggest struggle occurred at the free-throw line, where it converted just half its attempts, making nine of 18 shots.

The Lady Badgers will look to continue their winning ways Tuesday at home against Taylor.
