Dino Cannon of Killeen High School goes for a tackle against Waco during an October 13, 2011, game at Leo Buckley Stadium in Killeen. Cannon was murdered in June outside a Florida nightclub, where he was celebrating his recent graduation and 18th birthday with his four sisters and friends. Cannon's death and the ensuing investigation was selected as the Killeen Daily Herald's top sports story of 2012.
