At Troy, Aria Price led Shoemaker with 20 kills, and had five blocks, but the Lady Grey Wolves still fell to the Trojans.

Maddi Woodard added 12 kills and six blocks, while Anessa Pitts had 31 digs and Gabriela Sierra tallied 22 assists. Jezarai Navalta had 19 digs and five aces.

“The girls played well,” Shoemaker Coach Merdith Shaw-Moore said. “However, we have got to finish teams off. I saw a lot of great things, as well as things we need to tighten up on. Other than that, I am still very proud of my girls because they never quit.”
