At Troy, Trojans tailback Colton Mayo rushed for 247 yards and six touchdowns while quarterback Kyle Whitley added 172 as each scored twice in a 30-7 fourth quarter to trounce the visiting Eagles.

With three rushers eclipsing the century mark, Troy (3-4, 1-3) racked up 590 rushing yards, including another 118 from Daniel Wurster on eight carries, for its first win in District 13-2A, Div. I.

Salado (1-6, 1-3) was a little more balanced with 266 rushing and 284 passing, but not even 332 combined yards and four touchdowns from junior quarterback Ryan Simmons was enough to put them over the top. Senior tailback Chase Crenwelge led the Eagles with 162 rushing yards on 13 carries.
