SALADO — Salado held an early lead for the first half of Set 1, but the Lady Ducks soared to a three-set win after knotting the score at 11.

“We pretty much took all of the tips and the role shots and the dumps, and all the easy balls and said, ‘We’re going to take these easy balls and we’re going to convert them to offense,’” said Taylor coach Eric Soto. “‘We’ll let them get the big kills. ... But we’re going to take all the easy balls.’”
