At Belton, Daniel Mills scored 22 points, but for the second straight game, the Tigers let a fourth-quarter lead slip away.

Belton (8-15, 2-3 8-5A) led by nine with six minutes left, but was outscored 26-14 by Waco Midway in the fourth quarter and the Tigers dropped their third straight 8-5A game since their 2-0 start.

Thomas Barnes scored 18 points and Braden Hammond scored nine for Belton.
