Fun at the fair

The fair returns today through Sunday with carnival rides, games, food, a livestock show and professional bull riding.

BELTON — Spend the last official weekend of summer at the 2012 Central Texas State Fair at the Bell County Expo Center.

The three-day event includes top entertainment, a family carnival, livestock shows, food, arts and crafts and more.

Stoney LaRue and Six Market Blvd. will perform on the outdoor stage tonight. On Saturday, Aaron Watson and Brian Keane take the stage; and on Sunday, the Casey Donahew Band and Granger Smith will perform.

Armband specials will be available for unlimited rides from 5 p.m. to midnight today through Sunday. Admission to the fairgrounds is $8 for adults, and free for children age 12 and younger.

In addition, the Professional Bull Riders Pro Touring Division starts at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Bell County Expo Center. Tickets can be purchased at the Bell County Expo Center, H-E-B on 31st Street in Temple, ITR at Fort Hood or by phone at (512) 477-6060.
